Albert's Bicycle Music (affectionately named for the favorite mode of transportation of two Swiss Alberts: Hofmann and Einstein) is a site for sore ears. It's music with one foot in the 21st century and the other in the 19th with connections to Brazil, electronica, classical music, and dance genres. Have a look and a listen.
Available in September 2003, Albert's Bicycle is the third in a trilogy of Jon Scoville releases begun in January of this year. It is music in a contemplative mode, yet still has teeth. In the meantime, work is continuing on three more albums. Two are collaborations with Jon and long-time friend, composer/producer Paulo Brandão: We'll Explain It To You Later and Music of Northern Felton and Southwestern Humaita. Both of these, along with an all-groove dance album, Pirouette Park, will be available in 2004.
